ABOUT ME

The best part of being a photographer is helping people to see themselves in a new light that boosts their confidence and encourages them to thrive and try new things. Through my craft, I enjoy exploring the unconventional, combining beauty and decay, serenity and chaos, attraction and repulsion. To force the viewer to question their own comfort zone and coax them out of it if they are brave enough to listen to their true desires.

Patrick Gervais

I am Patrick Gervais, and I am on a journey. I was once a quiet, socially awkward outcast who focused on art as an escape from a world that brought me very little joy. I leaned into the horror genre partly because I enjoyed observing the reaction of those exposed to my art. Beyond the macabre front, I would express my emotions and philosophical ideas. There they sat in the open, protected from close-minded individuals who could not look past their initial discomfort to decipher the details and ruminate on their meaning.

I always knew I was different that most, yet lately I have found my tribe in the world of kink. Those who are unhindered by the judgments of society, as they venture deeper into the visceral sensations of pain and pleasure to discover the true meaning of substance free euphoria. I was first introduced to this lifestyle through artistic pursuit. It resonated with my creative M.O. by combining a sense of fear and curiosity. Shibari rope bondage was what first caught my attention, not only with the emotional duality it instilled, but with the intricate beauty it embodied. Upon tying my first few rope bunnies, and hearing their accounts of unparalleled bliss and unexpected pleasure, I realized there was much more to this than the aesthetic marvels that originally captured me.
